Not A Hotel Design Competition

Rather than merely observing nature from a distance, we become part of it. This proposal explores a new dialogue between architecture and nature. Gently undulating floor surfaces permeate the space like the contours of the earth, weaving delicate conversations with the landscape through the soles of people’s feet. The gradation of floor materials evokes the changing elevations of Mount Asama, with architecture serving as an extension of nature, creating an experience of wandering and walking. This is not architecture designed for viewing, but a proposal for a new form of dwelling that dissolves into nature.
